Why should I use ClipShout?
We have made publicly showing movie clips fast, convenient, and legal for anyone. It's as simple as the click of a button. We remove inappropriate content and adjust the brightness and/or audio volume, etc. for the optimal viewing experience.
Can't I just play a DVD or use YouTube for clips?
DVDs are intended for personal, home use only. Viewing outside the home requires a license granting specific authorization. This is the case for each organization that uses videos—even for nonprofit groups, even if admission is not being charged, and even though the video has been purchased.
Nearly all movie content posted to YouTube and other video streaming sites is done so without permission from the movie studios and in direct violation of copyright laws. Even if a movie clip is lawfully uploaded on YouTube, it does not give one the permission to showcase that clip in a public exhibition, which would also be in violation of copyright laws.
We have already obtained permission from the movie studios, distribution companies, and/or filmmakers for you to use our clips for public showings, so long as you adhere to all terms and conditions as stated in the ClipShout User Agreement.
Can I sign up multiple schools/organizations on one plan?
Yes, we can facilitate any number to schools/organizations under a single plan. Simply use the contact form to let us know your requirements and leave your contact information. One of our associates will contact you shortly.
Why is some content unavailable in my region?
Unfortunately with our studio agreements, we need to limit some titles to specific territory restrictions. Since we are working with licensed content, we have to be very sensitive as to not violate any of our contracts, so we can continue to provide this service to our subscribers. However, this only applies to a select few titles. The majority of our content is available worldwide.
I can't find a clip that was previously available. Where is it?
Unfortunately, we need to remove certain titles on rare occasions at the request of the studio/filmmakers.
Since we are working with copyrighted content, we have to be very sensitive as to not violate any of our contracts, so we can continue to provide this service to our subscribers.
How do I cancel my subscription or delete my account?

Can I add multiple users on one account?
Yes, you may add additional users under your account so long as he/she is an active on-site worker within your organization. An added user will have full access to clips and resources, but they will not be able to view or edit any of the primary account details. To add a user, just visit the My Account page, find the Additional Users section, click Add/Edit and follow the directions.
If I request a movie clip, will you make it available?
We always love to receive movie clip suggestions from our subscribers. However, since we need specific approval from the studios and/or filmmakers, we cannot guarantee that your request will be granted by a specified time or at all.
